Shoulder To Shoulder's staff and volunteers exhibit positive influence to meet needs by establishing meaningful relationships with those living in poverty.

New volunteers are always welcome the second Saturday of every month. We meet at Highland Hills Church, 638 Highland Ave., Ft.Thomas (map) at 10:15. It’s easy for families or groups to find a place to work together. Kids as young as 6 and as old as 86 can find somewhere to plug in.

Some volunteer opportunities include:

• Clothes sorting
• Grocery distribution
• Furniture distribution
• Food preparation
• Basketball coach, referee, score or time keeper
• Home improvement and repair
• Knit or crochet scarves
• Collect diapers, socks and underwear
• Run in the Flying Pig Marathon, first Sunday in May
• Volunteer for the Flying Pig Marathon, First Sunday in May
• Walk in the Hunger Walk, Memorial Day
